你可能知道華為、中興、聯(lián)想和酷派這些中國(guó)智能手機(jī)品牌,但你知道科特、魅族、四季風(fēng)、ThL和卓普嗎?
中國(guó)智能手機(jī)市場(chǎng)快速增長(zhǎng),涌現(xiàn)出這么多新手機(jī)品牌并不令人意外。畢竟,中國(guó)人喜歡追逐熱點(diǎn)市場(chǎng)。
中國(guó)仍然存在所謂的白牌(即山寨)廠商。他們利用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化元件組裝產(chǎn)品,然后向運(yùn)營(yíng)商、OEM/ODM甚至灰市銷(xiāo)售?,F(xiàn)在,一些非品牌本地手機(jī)設(shè)計(jì)公司變得更加聰明,紛紛調(diào)整商業(yè)模式并向食物鏈高處前進(jìn)。
這些新品牌的目標(biāo)仍然是國(guó)內(nèi)市場(chǎng)。但必須注意,廠商不僅是在智能手機(jī)上貼上自己的品牌。他們努力按照蘋(píng)果專(zhuān)賣(mài)店的樣式打造具有獨(dú)特品牌的完整店鋪,而不是在擁擠的零售商店出售手機(jī)。大多數(shù)智能手機(jī)都通過(guò)零售商店銷(xiāo)售。
我說(shuō)的店面,是指深圳華強(qiáng)路的一個(gè)小房間,與曼哈頓和帕洛阿爾托的蘋(píng)果專(zhuān)賣(mài)店根本不是一個(gè)概念。而且,中國(guó)廠商打出了一個(gè)新標(biāo)語(yǔ):品牌至上。

Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo and Coolpad are the Chinese smartphone brands you probably know. But what about Kente, Meizu, SGiFe, ThL or Zopo?
SHENZHEN, China – Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo and Coolpad are the Chinese smartphone brands you probably know. But what about Kente, Meizu, SGiFe, ThL or Zopo?
As the Chinese smartphone market surges, few should be surprised to see so many new brands popping up. After all, the Chinese like nothing better than a hot market.
So-called white box vendors (or "Shanzai," as they are sometimes called, even though it sounds derogatory) still exist in China. They assemble products from standardized parts and sell them to operators, OEMs/ODMs or even to the gray market. Now, some of the non-branded, local mobile handset design houses are wising up, changing their business model and moving up the food chain.
The target for these new brands remains domestic. But it’s important to note that vendors are not just slapping brand names onto generic smartphones. They’ve made a conscious effort to create a whole storefront with a unique brand, a la, the Apple Store, rather than selling in crowded retail shops where a vast array of smartphones are sold.
When I say storefront, I mean a cubbyhole on Huanqiang Road here, nothing like the sleek Apple stores in Manhattan and Palo Alto. Still, Chinese manufacturers have a new slogan: Branding matters.

New brands like Kente, Meizu, SgiFe, ThL and Zopo – many of which have emerged in the last 12 months – have a ways to go before they can crack IHS iSuppli’s Chinese Top Ten. Nonetheless, these upstarts are thinking big, and many already offer a 5-inch-screen smartphone.
Here's what we found during a recent tour of Shenzhen's consumer electronics outlets.
Welcome to Shenzhen
Where do we start?
The tour starts at Huanqiang North Road in Shenzhen.
Huanqiang
Here’s the world’s famous electronics market on Huanqiang Road, where you can buy anything — cables, components, chips that you need for prototyping or for DIY projects.
Saige
The Saige building located just across the street from Huanqiang, houses vendors selling electronics components, but the emphasis is on systems.
SGiFe?
Walk south down the Huangiang Road and you begin to see more branded smartphone store fronts. SGiFe is one of the new smartphone brands.
5-inch screen
No, this is not Samsung’s Galaxy SIII. SGiFe’s newest N899, based on Android 4.0, comes with a 5-inch screen.
Kente
Kente is another new smartphone brand, now with its own store on Huanqiang Road.

Kente’s KT998 also features a 5-inch screen. The smartphone, originally priced at $250, is marked down to $220.
Inside the store
Storefront may be narrow. but they have enough depth to showcase a range of Kente’s smartphones models.
Here come the tablets
Kente also sells a media tablet. This one is priced at $190. Notice that its flyer says it features MediaTek’s apps processor, the MTK6575 (Cortex A9 1.0 GHz).
3-D smartphone
At Zopo’s entrance, most prominently showcased is a 3-D smartphone, the ZP 200. Presumably, you can watch 3-D with the unaided eye.

ThL
ThL is another new Chinese smartphone brand. The model ThL W1 features dual-core Cortex-A9, running on Android 4.0, a 4.3-inch screen at 960 x 540 (QHD) resolution.
Meizu
The Meizu smartphone is virtually unknown outside Chine. Its MX model (shown on display at its store runs on an OS called Flyme 1.0 (equivalent to Android 4.0) and features Samsung’s Exynos 4212 processor (dual core Cortex-A9 at 1.5 GHz). It has a 4-inch screen with 960 x 640 resolution.
Coolpad
You may have heard of Coolpad, now ranked as the third largest smartphone brand in China, according to IHS iSuppli. This one, a TD-SCDMA/GSM phone, also includes a 5-inch display.
