在香港的新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上傳出消息，三星公司在同一時(shí)間推出了第一款搭載此操作系統(tǒng)的智能手機(jī)——Galaxy Nexus。本次三星新手機(jī)的亮相，兌現(xiàn)了對(duì)谷歌的承諾，在谷歌125億美元收購(gòu)摩托羅拉移動(dòng)之后，他們?nèi)詫⒆鳛楹献骰锇槔^續(xù)開(kāi)發(fā)產(chǎn)品。
一年前，谷歌在其年度開(kāi)發(fā)者會(huì)議上宣布了該整合版本Android的計(jì)劃，新版本是第一個(gè)內(nèi)置支持近場(chǎng)通信（NFC）Android。
采用一個(gè)名為Android束功能（Android Beam feature）的NFC技術(shù)，實(shí)現(xiàn)手機(jī)之間共享數(shù)據(jù)的鏈接。NFC技術(shù)還支持谷歌錢(qián)包，電子支付服務(wù)等。
Android 4.0的增強(qiáng)，主要表現(xiàn)在應(yīng)用程序和用戶界面層。包括一個(gè)改進(jìn)的瀏覽器，可以同步谷歌瀏覽器的書(shū)簽，支持Google+社交網(wǎng)絡(luò)，增強(qiáng)郵件和日歷程序，以及最新臉部識(shí)別解鎖手機(jī)功能。
三星Galaxy Nexus采用LTE和HSPA+網(wǎng)絡(luò)，搭配4.65英寸AMOLED顯示屏，支持1280 × 720像素的分辨率，可以拍攝720P視頻。使用1 GB的RAM和16GB的閃存，以及一顆名稱未知的1.2 GHz雙核心處理器。
老版本的Android怎么辦？
不管Android 4.0的界面變得多么華麗，功能更加強(qiáng)大，新的旗艦機(jī)，幾核處理器多少內(nèi)存，大多數(shù)安卓用戶關(guān)心的問(wèn)題是：這個(gè)漂亮好吃的冰激凌到底會(huì)不會(huì)來(lái)到自己的老手機(jī)上呢？
針對(duì)這個(gè)問(wèn)題，Google的產(chǎn)品經(jīng)理Gabe Cohen表示，Google的二兒子Nexus S肯定可以升級(jí)4.0，其他運(yùn)行2.3系統(tǒng)的安卓手機(jī)理論上也能夠升級(jí)。不幸的是，關(guān)于Google的大兒子——Nexus One，它這次貌似是要被老爹拋棄了。

Google rolls out Android 4.0 with Samsung

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Goggle announced the release of Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich, unifying what were separate variants of the OS for smartphones, tablets and digital TVs.
The news came in a Hong Kong press conference where Samsung launched the first smartphone using the software, the Galaxy Nexus. The debut with a Samsung device gives credence to Google's promise to continue to work with all Android partners in the wake of its $12.5 billion bid to buy Motorola Mobility.
Google announced at its annual developer conference a year ago its plans to bring together the separate phone, tablet and TV versions of Android. The new version is the first with built-in support for near-field communications (NFC).
A so-called Android Beam feature uses NFC links to share data between phones. NFC also provides the underpinnings for Google Wallet, an electronic payment service.
Android 4.0 sports a number of enhancements, mainly at the applications and user interface level. They include an improved browser that can synch bookmarks with Google Chrome, support for Google+ social networking, enhanced mail and calendar programs and Face Unlock, a face-recognition feature used for unlocking a handset.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus runs on LTE and HSPA+ networks and sports a 4.65-inch AMOLED display supporting 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, including 720-progreessive video. It uses an unnamed 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1 Gbyte RAM and 16 GBytes flash.
